A.L. Central First-Half MVPs

Carlos Quentin may be the Sox’s lone All-Star (until Paul Konerko is voted in – click here to vote Paulie), but Phil Humber has arguably been the team’s most valuable player over the first half of the season.

FanSided writers from the American League Central pooled together to justify their choices and I gave Humber the slight edge over Konerko. Brent Lillibridge deserves recognition for his defensive accomplishments and timely contributions to the team as well.
