Stadium Journey: Triple-A Charlotte

We’ve already taken you on a tour of U.S. Cellular Field, home of the White Sox, but now the folks over at Stadium Journey have stepped it up (or is it down?) a notch by venturing to Fort Mill, South Carolina, home of Chicago’s Triple-A affiliate, the Charlotte Knights.

Click here to check out Knights Stadium, the 2011 home of household names like Doug Davis, Lastings Milledge and Josh Phegley.

See where Dallas McPherson and Dayan Viciedo hit 20 bombs apiece, where Stefan Gartrell (we gave him to the Braves for cash. Cash.) knocked out 27 a year earlier.

David Berger gives you an all-access pass with his insight, and make sure you mill around the Stadium Journey site a little – they’ve covered EVERY Triple-A ballpark this year, as well as all the Major League parks.

Planning a journey of your own? That’s the place to go first.
