White Sox Acquire Jose Castro

The Sox really wanted in on all the Castro talk so they went out and acquired Jose Castro for a little minor league depth. Castro is 25 (and Puerto Rican not Cuban) and is yet to play in the big leagues at all. He hit fairly well in part time play across the minors for Reds affiliates last year. Should he make it to the majors at any point, I’m guessing it would be as an extra infielder. For now, he’ll play in AAA Charlotte.
