@ChipRamsey1 That definitely stands out as the worst follow up. Like you said, a young team and the length of the season tends to catch up with the very young.

The Alverez no-hitter was especially a milepost. The next night, the Sox lost in 11 innings to Baltimore on a home run by Leo Gomez and the season quickly went downhill from there. That was a great young White Sox team, but they just seemed to run out of gas after that series.

As long as I keep going to the resturant that my wife and I were on Sat. the 21st, when Humber threw that No-Hitter, for every Sox game for the rest of the season. There’s no way in the world that this so-called curse can still exist. lol ;o)

Good Article. And that Post Buehrle perfect game in the summer of 2009, still stings. The media flip flop over those 48 hours was unreal.
