Lineups for White Sox @ A’s Rubber Match

The Sox came short of going one entire turn through the rotation with wins, but there’s nothing wrong with trying again. Today Chris Sale will give it a shot against the dreaded pitcher we’ve never seen before. Jarrod Parker has just a single start under his belt, though I’m pretty sure either the A’s radio guys or White Sox TV told me yesterday it was his MLB debut today. No matter, in his single start for Arizona (arrived in Oakland via the Trevor Cahill trade in December) last September he went 5.2 scoreless innings so he’s certainly got that whole “nerves” thing out of the way.

Today’s Lineup:

1. De Aza – CF
2. Alexei – SS
3. Big Donkey – 1B
4. Paulie – DH
5. AJ – C
6. Rios – RF
7. Fukudome – LF
8. Morel – 3B
9. Escobar – 2B

Paulie and his foot continue to DH while Gordon Beckham and Dayan Viciedo have the day off.

Game starts at 2:35 so the late lunch won’t work. Basically you have no chance of watching any of this game. Or maybe I shouldn’t just assume that everybody else’s availability is the same as mine. Radio it is!
