Canada in the House – Lineups 6/5

facebooktwitterreddit

The AL East is a crazy place. 3 games separate first place from last place. The Blue Jays share last place with the Red Sox, and they are 2 games over .500. Ricky Romero distanced himself from league average in 2011 by posting a 2.92 ERA en route to a 15 win season. In 2012, he’s been edging his way back to that average level. He goes out, he has decent but not great starts, and he can be counted upon to strike some guys out in the process. He can also be counted upon to give up runs; he has yet to have an outing this season in which he has not.

We know the Philip Humber story, we know that we can’t expect to know who is showing up. Good Phil or bad Phil. We don’t know if he’s going to give up a 500 foot bomb to Joey Bats or strike him out 4 times (both?). We know the lineup though:

1.De Aza – CF
2.Gordo – 2B
3.Big Donkey – DH
4.Paulie – 1B
5.Rios – RF
6.AJ – C
7.Dayan – LF
8.Alexei – SS
9.Hudson – 3B

Back to full strength again and looking to do some more damage with the bats. The team is a couple days removed from the win streak but it seems like forever ago. Time to freshen up with another victory!
