Lemme Get a Look at Yu - Lineups 7/27

While you were all looking at film loops trying to decide if Nolan Ryan really beat up Robin Ventura, the White Sox were preparing to face Yu Darvish for the first time. Yu has had some control issues but also strikes guys out at a ridiculous rate. There’s a pretty good chance Adam Dunn gives a Dunn performance and shows us all 3 true outcomes.

Chris Sale continues to face opposing aces on Friday nights. It’s a Friday tradition.

Tonight’s lineup:

1. De Aza – CF
2. Youk – 3B
3. Dunn – DH
4. Paulie – 1B
5. Rios – RF
6. Ramirez – SS
7. Viciedo – LF
8. Flowers – C
9. Beckham – 2B

AJ, though it was previously stated that he would be likely for a start today, is still suffering from his strained oblique. Instead Tyler Flowers gets another start. He’s shown some signs of life so this isn’t the worst thing in the world. It would be preferable if we were given straight information on A.J.’s injury. Though these sorts of things are notoriously tricky, and could linger a while.
