Welcome to Opening Day folks! After a long, seemingly endless winter, White Sox baseball has begins today as Chris Sale takes on the Minnesota Twins and Ricky Nolasco.

Sale will likely give the White Sox an excellent chance today. Despite the improvements that the Twins made in the offseason, they are still considered to finish at the bottom of the American League Central. On a young, rebuilding team, having a strong start from Sale can only help build their confidence.

Today also features the much anticipated major league debut of Jose Abreu, the prized prospect who the White Sox, and seemingly everyone in the majors, is expecting great things from. It is going to be fun to see how those expectations translate to the major leagues this season.

We will be updating the thread in the comments section during the game, so feel free to jump in and give us your insight! We’re looking forward to chatting with you during the game.
