The Chicago White Sox are currently ranked at 23rd overall in the CBS Sports MLB Power Rankings.

The rankings for CBS Sports are compiled by writer Matt Snyder of CBS, as he moved the White Sox up three spots from his previous rankings.

He wrote about the White Sox in the rankings article:

"“Alejandro De Aza for MVP!”"

I don’t have a problem with where the White Sox sit in the rankings, as they haven’t earned a spot in the Top 20 just yet. If they don’t play with a little more consistency in the field (no more unearned runs please) in Kansas City this weekend, well, they could probably drop back down in the rankings next week.

The highest-ranked AL Central team on the list was the Detroit Tigers at No. 3. The Cleveland Indians followed at No. 8. The third team from the AL Central in the Top 10 were the Kanas City Royals at the 10th spot.

In last place at No. 30 were the Minnesota Twins.

The St. Louis Cardinals were ranked the best team in baseball, and I have no problem with their spot in the rankings.
