Winston-Salem Dash

The Dash have an overall record of 4-6 on the season in the Carolina League (Southern Division), trailing three teams by two games.

In 23 at-bats this season, Mike Marjama leads the Dash with a .391 BA with nine hits and no walks. He has one double and one RBI, scoring two runs.

Courtney Hawkins is next in line with a .316 BA, collecting 12 hits (three home runs, four doubles), seven runs, and 14 RBIs this season.

From April 8-10 Hawkins had eight RBIs, including a game on April 8 where he had five RBIs.

Tony Bucciferro has pitched the most innings for the Dash with 12.0, but has an 0-1 record. His ERA stands at 3.00.

Jeffery Wendelken is 1-1 with a 3.27 ERA in 11 innings pitched.

Kannapolis Intimidators

The Intimidators are 4-7 on the season, fifth in the South Atlantic League (Northern Division), trailing the Hagerstown Suns by 5.0 games.

At the plate this season, Carl Thomas leads Kannapolis with a .333 BA, gaining 10 hits and five RBI in 30 at-bats.

Cleuluis Rondon is batting .298 in 11 games (47 at-bats) this season. He’s collected 14 hits (three doubles) and six RBIs.

Tyler Williams is next with a .296 BA, collecting eight hits this season, including two doubles and three RBIs.

On the mound, James Dykstra is 1-1 with a 1.53 in 11.2 innings pitched (two starts).

In Dykstra’s most recent start on April 9 he earned the win, pitching 6.2 innings. In that start he allowed no runs on two hits and one walk, with six strikeouts.
