The White Sox are coming off two straight losses to the Boston Red Sox as they stand at .500 with an 8-8 overall record. The White Sox have yet to win a series on the road, with series loss to the Kansas City Royals and the Colorado Rockies this season.

The Rangers just hosted the Seattle Mariners, where they won three of four, including the last three games of that series for an overall record of 9-7.
