Sunday was a positive day for the Chicago White Sox. Not only did the team win 9-2 over the Tampa Bay Rays, but they got an excellent pitching performance from 29-year old rookie Scott Carroll, who also made his MLB debut.

Here is what we wrote yesterday on Carroll’s performance.

Speaking of Carroll, here is a video of his mom crying tears of joy as CSN Chicago posted the video.

Today the White Sox have one more game left with the Rays, as Chicago has won two of the three games already played since Thursday.

Also about yesterday’s game, Jose Abreu broke the rookie RBI record and moved the rookie home run record to 10 in the month of April. Here is the video and here is a GIF, with the GIF posted by CSN Chicago.

Today, the White Sox will send Andre Rienzo (1-0, 4.91 ERA) to the mound vs. Tampa Bay starter Jake Odorizzi (1-2, 6.52 ERA).
