If you didn’t get a chance to see the Chicago White Sox lose to the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday afternoon, well you didn’t miss much if you cheer the White Sox, as they lost by a 5-1 score to the visitors.

The one thing you missed if you didn’t get a chance to watch it was centerfielder Adam Eaton rob a potential home run by Torii Hunter of the Tigers.

Eaton is making a season of these type of catches, as he robbed David Ortiz of a home run in similar fashion earlier this season.

The new White Sox centerfielder, whom they traded for during the offseason, is a bit of fresh air to a team that has lacked a lot of energy in past seasons. He missed a few games this year because of his hard-nosed style of play, but that style of game is why he’s not only in the majors, but a successful player at that.

I can’t wait to see what else he has in store this season for the White Sox in 2014.
