Video: Kevin Hart tosses 1st pitch at White Sox game

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart tossed out the ceremonial first-pitch before the Chicago White Sox vs. Kansas City Royals Friday night.

At the “Fast Pitch” machine earlier in the day at US Cellular Field Hart, 34, was clocked throwing at 53 MPH.

At the “Fast Pitch” machine at US Cellular Field Hart, 34, was clocked at 53 MPH.

As for the game, the White Sox lost to the Royals, 7-2.

The loss went to White Sox starter Jose Quintana.

In six innings Friday, Quintana allowed six earned runs on eight hits and one walk. He did strike out six, but his ERA now sits at 3.98 on the season.  He threw 110 pitches, 69 for strikes.

Hart starred in the movie “Ride Along,” and “About Last Night” earlier this year. He’s scheduled to be in “Think Like a Man Too” later this month.
