White Sox vs. Angels postponed; doubleheader Tuesday

The Chicago White Sox game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim was postponed Monday night due to severe weather and will be made up on Tuesday as part of a straight doubleheader.

The first of the two games on Tuesday will start at 4:10 p.m., with the second game to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one at US Cellular Field.

The White Sox also wrote in a press release about the postponement:

"“WCIU will televise the opener, and CSN will carry the nightcap.”"

Pitching matchups for Tuesday will be Hector Noesi (2-4, 4.18 ERA) vs. Garrett Richards (8-2, 2.76 ERA) of the Angels. The second game will be Scott Carroll (2-4, 4.76 ERA) against Angels starter Jered Weaver (8-6, 3.33 ERA).

The White Sox will enter the game with an overall record of 39-44, including a three-game winning streak.
