Vote Chris Sale into All-Star game: #TargetSale

After the All-Star voting was announced maybe the best pitcher in the American League was left off the All-Star ballot in Chicago White Sox starter Chris Sale.

Sale can still be voted in by the fans, as he is apart of the Final 5 voting for the American League. He’s been an All-Star the past two seasons, including being the winning pitcher in 2013.

To vote for Sale White Sox fans need to vote by clicking here. Voting ends on Thursday, July 10 at 4 p.m. ET. Fans can also vote for Sale on Twitter by tweeting: #TargetSale

MLB also put the following in their ways to vote:

The number to vote for Sale is A5.

In his last start Sale struck out 12 Seattle Mariner batters. This season, Sale has three games of 10-plus strikeouts in 13 starts.

Sale has pitched 87.1 innings this season, and in those innings he’s struck out 96 batters, holding his opponents to a batting average of .194.

Sale’s WHIP this season is 0.87.

Also in the AL All-Star voting are four other pitchers: Rick Porcello, Garrett Richards, Corey Kluber and Dallas Keuchel.
