After what Chicago White Sox fans endured last season and for parts of this current season it is strange writing the “Good Guys” have won eight of their past 11 games, but it is a true fact and I for one am not complaining.

The 8-of-11 streak began in Toronto with three straight wins against the Blue Jays, followed with one win against the Los Angels of Anaheim, two wins against the Seattle Mariners over the weekend and currently two straight wins against the Boston Red Sox.

On Tuesday the White Sox defeated the Red Sox, 8-3.

Chicago is still 7.5 games back of the AL Central lead to the Detroit Tigers, and 5.5 back of the second Wild Card spot in the AL.

Tonight the potential climb up the standings continues for the White Sox with Chris Sale on the mound against the John Farrell managed Red Sox, the same Farrell who didn’t put Sale on the AL All-Star roster.

It would be nice to see Sale have one of his really good games this evening, as he enters the game 8-1 with a 2.16 ERA and 96 strikeouts.
