Chicago White Sox ceterfielder Adam Eaton maybe had the best baseball themed Christmas tweet of the day on Thursday, at least for White Sox fans.

Here is the tweet from Eaton, who became a member of the White Sox in 2014:

Eaton is referring to all of the moves the White Sox General Manager Rick Hahn and the White Sox front office has made this offseason.

Most notably the biggest moves the White Sox have made are signing Adam LaRoche as he new designated hitter via free agency, trading for starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija, and also signing via free agency left fielder Melky Cabrera and closer David Robertson.

So yes, Eaton is correct in his statement referring to Christmas coming early, especially with his hashtag of #SantaHahn. I say that because the White Sox put players on the roster who are capable of winning with some of the players from last season.

This past season Eaton batted .300 with 35 RBIs and one home run. In the final game of the regular season the lead-off hitter went 3-for-3 to reach the .300 mark for the first time in his career. Eaton finished with 146 hits in 123 games in 486 at-bats. He also totaled 26 doubles, 10 triples and walked 43 times. Eaton also had a slugging percentage of .401.

What I enjoy about Eaton besides his play on the baseball diamond is he interacts and has fun with White Sox fans on social media. He also tweeted this to a fan of the White Sox on Christmas Day:

Having a player like Eaton is great for the White Sox to have, and I’m excited to see how well he represents the White Sox on and off the field in 2015. It will be exciting and full of energy is my guess.
