CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim resume their four game series this afternoon on the south side of Chicago at 1:10 PM (CT). Follow along below in the comments section all game long!

In game one of the series White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon was shelled as he was pulled after just a 1/3 of an inning, leaving the rest of the game to the White Sox bullpen. Rodon allowed five runs on six hits, and two walks in the top of the first inning before being pulled. The bullpen allowed just two runs through the remaining 8 2/3 innings, but the offense could not muster anything against former White Sox pitcher Hector Santiago.

The White Sox bounced back last night in game two of the series on the strength of starer Mat Latos, and his 6 1/3 innings of scoreless work on the evening. Latos got the win, and improved to 3-0 on the season with a microscopic ERA of 0.49. Todd Frazier, and Jose Abreu each hit solo home runs in the middle innings, and the White Sox added three more runs late on a Melky Cabrera two run triple, and an Austin Jackson RBI single. Todd Frazier reached base three times on the evening, giving hope that he is coming out of his early slump.

The White Sox enter play at 9-5 on the campaign, just a half game behind the defending champion Royals in the AL Central Standings. The White Sox will have their ace Chris Sale on the mound this afternoon in search of his fourth win on the early season. Sale will be opposed by Angels starter Garret Richards on the hill this afternoon. Check out this afternoon’s lineup below, and follow along in the comment section all game long!
