Kris Bryant

Few free agents would fit in on the Chicago White Sox more than Kris Bryant.

Kris Bryant would make an outstanding business decision if he signed with the Chicago White Sox for the long-term betterment of the team. It would also be a very good move for the Chicago White Sox as they would be getting an elite hitter that can field pretty much every position.

It is hard to call him a utility man because he is a player that has won a World Series, a Rookie of the Year, MVP, and four All-Star appearances. He is one of the most decorated Cubs of all time. It didn’t work out long term for him in Chicago but there is no doubt that his memory will last for a long time.

The Cubs traded Kris Bryant to the San Francisco Giants in the middle of this 2021 season. He went from a bad Cubs team to an elite Giants team. Bryant and the Giants took the Los Angeles Dodgers to the brink of the first round but LA prevailed. It was certainly a well-played series from both sides.

If he came to the White Sox, he would probably mostly play right field but he can play whatever a coach like Tony La Russa needs. There are going to be injuries and off-days where Bryant could fill in as well. When you combine this with one of the best bats in the game, you are getting a really good player.
