The Chicago White Sox are not in the postseason because of the fact that they wildly underperformed in 2022. However, that doesn’t mean that everyone should just avoid watching the Wild Card Series games.

It was a weekend loaded with amazing moments but no series went the distance beside the New York Mets vs San Diego Padres. Each team took a game to start forcing a winner-take-all game three on Sunday night.

Despite this amazing season, the Mets blew it and allowed the Padres to win. Following that, San Diego has a very fun divisional matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers while the Mets search for answers.

There are a few free agents that the Mets are going to try and bring back this winter. However, a team like the White Sox might be smart to pry one away. These are the three Mets free agents to consider:

Brandon Nimmo. 9. player. 3. . OF. New York Mets

Brandon Nimmo would be a perfect addition to the Chicago White Sox outfield.

The Chicago White Sox could use a player like Brandon Nimmo. He is an outfielder that could help them defensively in right, center, and left. There are options at every position for the White Sox but they aren’t all guaranteed to be impact players and the ones that are usually get injured.

Nimmo isn’t the biggest power hitter out there in terms of home runs as he only had 16 but then again that would have been second on the 2022 White Sox. He does drive the ball well, however, as he had a slash line of .274/.367/.433 for an OPS of .800.

Adding a player like this would be really smart for the White Sox. He certainly wouldn’t move the needle like a superstar but he can help them become a better team. He is a free agent now that the Mets are done and they could be looking to add a mega star in the outfield.
