#TeamLilli Done For Season

Brent Lillibridge fractured a bone in his right hand after being hit by a pitch (dad gummit) on Thursday night and is done for the season.

Lillibridge has been a game-changer many times this season – there’s a reason he gets his own Twitter hashtag. Just look at how he stayed in the game to run for himself. He’s as much of a bulldog as Jake Peavy. He rolls in beast mode like Juan Pierre.

He is #TeamLilli.

It will be interesting to see how this effects the team. Adam Dunn has already been given “the talk” by Ozzie and is seeing greatly reduced playing time.

Will Dunn get Lillibridge’s reps at first when PK needs a spell, or will Dayan Viciedo? He did play first for a couple of games toward the end of his Triple-A days.

I’m sure Ozzie Guillen will address those issues in his pre-game presser on Friday as the White Sox look to stay hot and hold onto any slim postseason hopes they still have against the Cleveland Indians.
