Yoenis Cespedes to Oakland

That whole Cespedes to Florida thing? Yeah, ex that. According to Susan Slusser the A’s have actually agreed to terms with the Cuban defector to the tune of 4 years $36 million. It’s a surprising signing; I believe Billy Beane always pokes around in the international market but deems price tags too high. It’s nice to have seen him connect.

In any event, that does mean no go on our own Cuban Connection attempts, perhaps on the next one!
