Eric Stults Claimed by Padres

I may have suggested that if the Sox parted ways with Gavin Floyd in a trade, we’d be seeing Eric Stults back on the big squad and in the rotation. Well that won’t happen. When Jesse Crain was brought back off of the DL Stults had to clear waivers as he was designated for assignment. He didn’t clear waivers, the Padres have claimed him.

He did a good time in his brief big league time with the Sox, but off he goes. And the next starter experiment is TBD.
