White Sox Sign 16 Year-Old Dominican Luis Castillo

The White Sox have taken another dip into the international recruitment pool by signing Luis Castillo. No, no, not that Luis Castillo. This Castillo is just 16 and has come with the description of being a “man child”. He is 6-2 and 205 pounds, and is currently listed as a third baseman. $450,000 for young Dominican to join the White Sox organization.
According to Baseball America the White Sox also signed Shortstop Johan Cruz, also 16, out of the Dominican Republic earlier in the month.
