The Chicago White Sox are set to host the Boston Red Sox in a three-game series, starting tonight at US Cellular Field.

The White Sox will start Erik Johnson on the mound, while the Red Sox will send former White Sox pitcher Jake Peavy to the hill.

Peavy enters the game at 0-0 on the year, with a 2.13 ERA. Peavy this season has no-decisions against the Milwaukee Brewers and the Texas Rangers.

Peavy (RHP) has pitched 12.2 innings thus far in two starts, with no less than 6.0 IP in each start. He has allowed nine hits and walked six. Peavy has also struck out 12 batters this year.

Johnson (RHP) will be making his third start of the season with an 0-1 record to go with a 9.58 ERA.

In starts against the Kansas City Royals and the Colorado Rockies, Johnson has pitched a total of 10.1 innings, allowing 11 earned runs on 19 hits and four walks. He has struck out six.
