Let’s forget about what happened over the weekend and give the Chicago White Sox a mulligan for how they played against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, because now the Detroit Tigers are waiting for the “Good Guys.”

The White Sox are about to begin a four-game series against the Tigers, who are in front of the White Sox by 4.5 games in AL Central standings.

Chicago is 31-33 overall (fourth in the AL Central) and the Tigers lead the division at 33-26.

Tonight’s pitching matchup will be Rick Porcello (8-3, 3.69 ERA) against Hector Noesi (1-3, 3.92 ERA). Hopefully it isn’t another long night for the White Sox.

Looks like tonight the White Sox have an uphill battle against the division leaders, expecially if they play like they did on Friday and Sunday against the Angels.
