Olympic medalist McKayla Maroney throws out 1st pitch

Before the start of the Chicago White Sox vs. the Minnesota Twins game on Friday night, multi-time Olympic medalist McKayla Maroney threw out the first pitch at US Cellular Field.

Her ceremonial first pitch was unique as she did two cartwheels from the pitcher’s mound to home plate, then threw the baseball.

Maroney is also know for her “not impressed face” after earning a silver medal the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England.

Her web site says:

"“The Future: McKayla is currently competing (and winning) in various championships, as well as working on her acting career…”"

Maroney plans to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics as they will be will be held in Rio de Janeiro Brazil on Aug 5-21, 2016.
