Josh Hamilton Wins AL MVP, Paul Konerko Finishes 5th
Today it was announced that Texas Rangers’ outfielder Josh Hamilton is the 2010 AL MVP.
Hamilton had an outstanding season this year leading the major leagues in batting average hitting .359 and in slugging percentage (.633). He also hit 32 home runs and had 100 RBI, while also missing time this season from suffering broken ribs.
After his outstanding season for the White Sox, Paul Konerko finished in 5th place and did not receive a single first place vote.
