Sale Test – Lineups for 5/12

Chris Sale, a man we all thought could not start, then he started, then he could not start, then maybe he might start again. And now he’s starting. Thanks for hanging in there folks. Chris Sale’s removal from the rotation lasted about a week, causing Sale to miss only one start. Today he’ll return to the bump after an apparently uneventful MRI exam. I’m pleased with it, but I’m guessing that Don Cooper is grumpy. About Sale, or, whatever.

Adam Dunn will attempt to eclipse his 2011 HR total having tied it last night. Should he manage that today it will also mean that he’s homered in three straight games.

Luke Hochevar will be pitching for the Royals. Hochevar got lit up in his last two starts going a total of 6.1 innings between them and allowing 16 earned runs. Seems like a good formula for some more White Sox offense. The potential beneficiaries:

1.De Aza – CF
2.Gordo – 2B
3.Big Donkey – DH
4.Paulie – 1B
5.AJ – C
6.Rios – RF
7.Alexei – SS
8.Viciedo – LF
9.Brent Morel – 3B

Brent Morel is back in the lineup after missing a couple games due to his back being sore. The mental break might be just as beneficial to him as the physical.
