Hey Look, Twins! 5/22 Lineups
Hey look at that, Paulie’s back! Lack of vision will only hold a guy like Paul Konerko back for so long. What exactly do I mean by that? I’m not really sure. Point is, the King is back in the lineup in support of Gavin Floyd against the Twins tonight.
P.J. Walters will take the ball for the Twins. Walters has 2 starts under his belt this season, neither of which was remarkable to the good or to the bad. Given the way things have gone for Twins pitchers in 2012 that puts him near the top of the effectiveness chart for starting pitching for his squad.
Tonight’s Lineup:
1.De Aza
2.Gordo 2B
3.Big Donkey – DH
4.PAULIE – 1B
5.AJ – C
6.Rios – RF
7.Viciedo – LF
8.Ramirez – SS
9.Escobar – 3B
No O-Dog just yet, as Escobar will play third once again for the Sox. With Viciedo swinging a hot bat, and Gordon Beckham beginning to look like a hitter, this lineup now looks pretty formidable and will try to keep that short lived reputation now that they are back to divisional play.
If you happen to be at the game in the next few weeks and see a police officer, go on ahead and shake his hand, tell him thanks. Don’t let the Mayor seem like a better person than you!
