The Return of Lucas Harrell – Lineups 6/10
If this was the World Series the Sox would be heading to Houston with a split. It’s not, of course, and the rubber match will take place right where the first two did. Philip Humber faces off against former White Sox Lucas Harrell. It’s kind of funny, when we first started Humber I viewed him as something of a replacement Harrell. Removing the shine of Humber’s perfect game, but leaving that game’s stats in, Harrell is still having the better year. According to my calculations, Humber is roughly one game below replacement Harrell.
Today’s Lineup:
1.De Aza – CF
2.Gordo – 2B
3.Big Donkey – DH
4.Paulie – 1B
5.Rios – RF
6.Dayan – LF
7.Alexei – SS
8.Flowers – C
9.Hudson – 2B
Dayan Viciedo, who left Friday night’s game early with tight hamstrings and sat out Saturday’s as a precaution, is back in the left field to start. The Sox had a lot of leftover runs yesterday, scoring 10 in support of a 1 run pitching effort. As far as the tap being dry, I’m not too worried. It’s a hot afternoon, the Sox are the Sox and Lucas Harrell is Lucas Harrell.
