#TakeJake might not have worked initially, but Jake Peavy is going to Kansas City anyway. C.J. Wilson will be unable to appear for the American League All-Star team and Peavy has been named his replacement. Peavy is 7-5 with a 2.85 ERA in 2012 and is striking out nearly a batter an inning. His record isn’t reflective of his dominance as he’s been on the short end of some solid efforts having notched 3 complete game losses on the year.
Congratulations, Jake. You deserve it.
