Coming off a blowout loss on Tuesday, the Chicago White Sox (7-9) will take on the Los Angeles Angels (9-10) in a Cactus League matchup this afternoon. First pitch is slated for 3:05 p.m. CT.
Right-hander Erik Johnson (0-0, 2.57 ERA) will take the hill for Chicago, and will be opposed by southpaw Tyler Skaggs (0-1, 4.35) in this afternoon’s matchup. Skaggs will look to be an important piece of a young Angels rotation in the upcoming season, while Johnson is slated as a middle-of-the-pack starter for the White Sox.
This afternoon’s game will be broadcast on CSN and MLB Network and those who have the At-Bat app will be able to listen in to the KLAA 830 broadcast from the Angels’ radio team.
