The Chicago White Sox are sending out another young pitcher to the mound against a veteran Detroit Tigers tonight, this time being Andre Rienzo.
In the official White Sox preview to the game it states about the starting pitcher for Wednesday:
"“Rienzo will be making his first start of the season. In 10 starts last season, his rookie season, Rienzo went 2-3 with a 4.82 ERA.”"
Last night, the White Sox lost to the Tigers, 8-6. The series is even at 1-1, with tonight’s game remaining, and a game on Thursday, before the White Sox return home to host the Tampa Bay Rays.
This AL Central game will air on CSN+ in Chicago, and on Fox Sports in Detroit-plus. Out of market viewers can watch the game on MLB.TV. On the radio, in Chicago, WSCR 670 will air the game, and also be on MLB Audio.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:08 CT, 7:08 ET.
