2. Scott Carroll will keep his ERA to under 1.00
Scott Carroll has been a great story for the White Sox this season, even though it has been just two starts.

Carroll, 29, is 1-1 with a 0.68 ERA. In his two starts (13.1 innings), he has allowed just 11 hits, four runs (one earned) and three walks. He doesn’t strike out many (three in the past two starts), but there is no reason he can’t continue to do what he’s done thus far this season against the struggling Cubs.

The Cubs are 24th in the majors with a .236 team batting average and 28th overall in hits with 233.

Carroll will face the Cubs on Thursday, May 8 at US Cellular Field.
