Monday, May 12 the Chicago White Sox begin a three-game series on the West Coast against the AL West first-place Oakland Athletics.
The A’s enter the series with 23 wins and 15 losses, while the White Sox are 19-20 on the season, currently five games back of the Detroit Tigers.
John Danks will be the starting pitcher for the White Sox tonight, as he’ll oppose Jesse Chavez of the A’s.
In the official MLB.com preview of this game it starts about the White Sox playing in Oakland:
"“O.co Coliseum was long a house of horrors for his team, which is 19-41 in Oakland since 2000, but has gone a respectable 9-12 since ’08.”"
This is going to be a tough series for the White Sox, but one I want to see for the fact I want to view how they rebound after the previous series against the Arizona Diamondback where they lost two of three.
