In case you missed it on Wednesday, the Chicago White Sox won a game, snapping a four-game losing streak. The hero of the game? You guessed it … Jose Abreu.

Abreu hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning to put the White Sox ahead for good at 4-2 against the Oakland Athletics, giving Chicago their 20th win of the 2014 season.

Here is a GIF of the home run by Abreu:

Now the White Sox, with an off-day on Thursday will next take on the Houston Astros for three games this weekend.

This season, Abreu is batting .271 with an MLB leading 15 home runs. He also has collected 41 RBIs, with an on-base percentage of .320. Of his 45 hits this season, 27 have been for extra bases.

The best or easiest way to describe Abreu this rookie season of his is … he is a beast on the baseball diamond. It is that simple.
