Complete American League All-Star Game Roster

Tonight is the night where the American League and National League battle for home field advantage for the World Series in the MLB All-Star game at Target Field.

The game will air at 7:30 p.m. ET live on FOX and MLB.TV.

There will be three Chicago White Sox players on the AL roster with Jose Abreu and Alexei Ramirez voted onto the team by players and AL manager John Farrell and Chris Sale who won the Final Vote by the fans.

With that said here is the roster of the American League:

First let’s look at the starting lineup:

Miguel Cabrera (first base, Tigers), Robinson Cano (second base, Mariners), Josh Donaldson (third base, Athletics), Derek Jeter (shortstop, Yankees), Jose Bautista (outfield, Blue Jays), Mike Trout (outfield, Angels), Adam Jones (outfield, Orioles), Salvador Perez (catcher, Royals), Nelson Cruz (designated hitter, Orioles).

Orioles catcher Matt Wieters was voted onto the All-Star team by the fans, but was injured and is out for the remainder of the season.

Reserve position players for the AL are:

• First Base: Jose Abreu (White Sox), Edwin Encarnacion (Blue Jays), Brandon Moss (Athletics).

• Second Base: Jose Altuve (Astros).

• Third Base: Adrian Beltre (Rangers), Kyle Seager (Mariners).

• Shortstop: Erick Aybar (Angels), Alexei Ramirez (White Sox).

• Outfield: Michael Brantley (Indians), Yoenis Cespedes (Athletics), Alex Gordon (Royals).

• Catcher: Derek Norris (Athletics), Kurt Suzuki (Twins).

• Designated Hitter: Victor Martinez (Tigers).

As for the pitchers, Felix Hernandez (Mariners) was named the starting pitcher for the All-Star Game. He’ll oppose Adam Wainwright of the Cardinals in the National League.

Listed are the relievers for the All-Star Game for the AL:

Dellin Betances (Yankees), Mark Buehrle (Blue Jays), Yu Darvish (Rangers), Sean Doolittle (Athletics), Greh Holland (Royals), Scott Kazmir (Angels), Jon Lester (Red Sox), Glen Perkins (Twins), David Price (Rays), Chris Sale (White Sox), Max Scherzer (Tigers) and Koji Uehara.

Injured is Masahiro Tanaka (Yankees). Also, Jeff Samardzija was selected to the All-Star game for the NL as a member of the Chicago Cubs, but was traded to the Athletics and can’t play in the game.
