Tyler Danish RHP

Age: 24

Tyler Danish was a draft pick by the White Sox in 2013. Taken in the second round, most scouts project Danish as a reliever at the big league level due to his intense three-quarter delivery. However, this season he has started 21 games for the Winston Salem Dash. His coaches and the White Sox front office have to be pleased with what they’ve seen from the Florida product this year. Danish has amassed a 1.92 ERA in 108 innings pitched with 86 strikeouts.

The White Sox will likely transition the prospect into the bullpen as he climbs the ladder, or when he reaches the majors, to minimize his risk of injury. I expect him to split time between the Barons and Knights next year, assuming his performance with the Barons is similar to the performance he has turned in for the Dash. If all goes well, Danish could earn himself a spot in The Show in 2016 as a member of the White Sox bullpen.
