Country music superstar Garth Brooks not only had friends in “low places,” but friends with the Chicago White Sox as well.

Brooks took batting practice with the Chicago White Sox before their game was postponed Friday night.

MLB.com wrote about Brooks’ concert schedule for Friday, with a show at 6 p.m. and later at 10:30 p.m.

Throwing the BP to Brooks was manager Robin Ventura.

Here is what MLB.com wrote about Brooks and his Chicago concerts:

"“Country music superstar Garth Brooks hails from Oklahoma, but opted to kick off his first world tour in 13 years with a show at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. When that show sold out in a matter of seconds, he added another … and another … and another … until a full slate of 11 Chicago shows were on the schedule.”"

Brooks also caught fly balls at UC Cellular Field on Friday. In the batting cages, Brooks even switch hit.
