After taking two of three in a rain-shortened series against the Kansas City Royals, the Chicago White Sox are traveling East to take on the defending AL East Champion, Baltimore Orioles in a three-game series beginning Monday night.

This is the first time these two teams will have met this season.

The White Sox enter the series one-game under .500 at 8-9, third place behind the Detroit Tigers and the Royals.

The Orioles, like Chicago, are a game under .500. They are currently in fourth place in the AL East and two games behind the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays.
