The Chicago White Sox are on a bit of a hot streak after winning their past two series over the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds in the past week. They’ll be making the quick trip up I-94 for their first inter-league road series of the season as the Milwaukee Brewers will be hosting the Sox for a three-game series.

This is the first and only time that the White Sox and Brewers will play each other.

The White Sox are 12-16 and 6.5 games behind the Kansas City Royals in the AL Central.

The Brewers are 11-21 and 11.5 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central.

Samardzija is coming off his suspension and one of his better starts of the season against the Tigers in his last start.

Chris Sale (2-1) vs. Mike Fiers (1-4)

Sale, like Samardzija, is coming off his suspension as well; however, his last few starts have been less than impressive.
