After Wednesday’s  win in extra innings the Chicago White Sox are making a quick trip to Baltimore for a day/night doubleheader.  These are the makeup games from an earlier series that were cancelled due to unrest in Baltimore.

The Sox enter today in a tied for fourth place in the AL Central with the Cleveland Indians at 20-24 and 7 games out of first place.

The Baltimore Orioles enter the doubleheader as the third place holder in the AL East at 21-23.  They are currently 2.5 games behind the New York Yankees for first place.

The Orioles currently lead the season series 1-0

Probable Pitchers

Game 1 Thursday May 28th @ 1:05 p.m.

Tyler Wilson(1-0) vs. Chris Sale(3-2)

Wilson has made two appearances as relief pitcher but this will be his first major league start.

Sale struggled early in his last start against the Twins but looks to be close to regaining his dominant form.

Game 2 Thursday May 28th @ 4:05 p.m.

Mike Wright(1-0) vs. Chris Beck(0-0)

Wright has pitched well in 2 starts this year as he hasn’t yielded a run in 14.1 innings of work.

Beck will be making his Major League debut.  He was a second round pick in the 2012 draft.
