CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox (12-6) look to keep their win streak alive, as well as complete the series series sweep against the Texas Rangers (10-8) today. The game is set to take place at U.S. Cellular, with a 1:10 pm start time. Follow along in the comments for this live thread!

The now AL leading White Sox have stymied the offensive Rangers to this point in the series. The White Sox offense has definitely tried to awaken, with a 5-0 victory on Friday. Saturdays game was a weird one, with lots of problems to go around for both teams. The White Sox found out a way to win that one too though, which is what good teams do.

The White Sox announced this morning that catcher Alex Avila has been placed on the 15 day disabled list with a hamstring strain. The White Sox have called up catcher Kevan Smith from Triple-A Charlotte in his place. Smith is hitting .345 with two home runs, and six runs batted in to date this season in Charlotte.

This afternoons series features two undefeated pitchers, Mat Latos for the White Sox and Derek Holland for the Rangers. Mat Latos has looked on target in his 3 starts, featuring a 0.49 ERA. Derek Holland comes into the game with a 2.70 ERA.  Check out the lineup below, and as always you can follow along in the comments while listening on WLS 890 AM, or watching on CSN.
