The Chicago White Sox defeated the Miami Marlins in this one and lots of players stepped up to earn them the victory in this one.

The Chicago White Sox defeated the Miami Marlins by a final score of 9-1. It was a route of one of the worst teams and the league and everything went right for them in this one. They got a huge win and with 3 out of the last four, they might be feeling good about themselves again.

Ivan Nova got the start and he was absolutely brilliant! He got the complete-game win for the Sox! He had struggled at points in 2019 but he looked really good in this one and the coaching staff allowed him to end it himself.

The White Sox got the offense they needed by the home run in this one. This could be a sign of things to come, but they had four home runs to help them get to the whopping nine runs. Yoan Moncada, Ryan Goins, James McCann, and Jose Abreu all hit home runs en route to the win. It was a great day for the offense and hopefully, that continues.

Moncada, in particular, had an amazing game yet again. He went 2/4 with four RBIs. He is having an amazing season and it’s really budding into a superstar. He is the White Sox best all-around hitter on this team. His improvement from last season is so sweet to watch. You were able to see that the tools were there last year, but this year he is putting them to use. Moncada is the future of the Chicago White Sox.

Now the White Sox will have two chances to get the series win. They need to take care of business against the Marlins because they are so clearly the better team. That means nothing as far as winning and losing individual Major League Baseball games. Hopefully, the White Sox can put up more performances like this to finish off the season.
