The Chicago White Sox were in complete control of the game before they let one bad inning cost them the win in their game against the Los Angeles Angels.

The Chicago White Sox were defeated in their Saturday night game against the Los Angeles Angels. It was a game where they were in complete control but they blew it after one bad inning cost them the game. Games like this are going to happen to the best, but it is especially going to happen to a team that is young and inexperienced.

They were winning the baseball game 5-2 in the seventh inning before giving up four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. They had the game in hand but they blew it. It is honestly something that they can learn from and be ready to come back from in the next game. They have one shot to try and tie the series against the Angels on Sunday afternoon.

The White Sox got out to their 5-2 lead thanks to their top guys being their top guys. Tim Anderson and Eloy Jimenez each had a two-hit effort, including a home run for Jimenez. Leury Garcia, Jose Abreu, and James McCann also all added a hit. All five of them scored one of the team’s runs in a strong team effort offensively.

Sometimes, when a guy like Mike Trout is on the other team and has a major part in defeating you, there is no shame. They have been dominated by Trout for pretty much his entire career, as he dominates everyone. Trout went 1 for 3 with a walk and two RBIs.

The one four-run inning by the bullpen ended up being the team’s demise and wasted the strong effort offensively but they can rebound. On Sunday, Dylan Cease will take the ball for the White Sox as Griffin Canning will pitch for the Angels. It is important for Cease to have another good start and start to really get on a role. They will attempt to tie the series and get out of Los Angeles with a 2-2 split.
