1. player. 5. . OF. Cleveland Guardians. Yasiel Puig

The Chicago White Sox have plenty of talent and they also have plenty of style to their game. They would be adding some of both if they signed Yasiel Puig to a contract. He also plays in the right field which could end up being a position of need if Mazara proves he is not an everyday player. It would be awesome to see Puig join Robert and Jimenez in the White Sox outfield. He also has a cannon of an arm which would really help from a defensive point of view.

If he joined he would also be bringing in some offense. He can change games with his bat at times. He has been inconsistent throughout his career but if he could come to Chicago and be surrounded by all of this talent, he would thrive. He had an especially good year split between the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians in 2020.

He slashed .267/.327/.458 in 2020 with the two Ohio teams. He also hit 24 home runs on 148 hits with 84 RBIs and 74 runs scored. It is realistic to think that these numbers could improve even more if he were to join the White Sox. This lineup would be deeper than either of the two teams he played on in 2019. Bringing this level of offense late in the offseason along with his good defense would go a long way for the White Sox outfield picture.
