The Chicago White Sox have the potential to be really good this season and some individual success might follow that in 2020.

The Chicago White Sox have a lot to look forward too. They plan on being a great team on the field. There is a nice core of young players there at all sorts of positions that will help this team win baseball games. They have an average or above-average player at just about every position which is something they haven’t been able to say in a very long time. Sure, a lot of things need to go right but they have a chance to be a surprise team in 2020.

There are plenty of players who took major steps in 2019. That helped the team be ten games better than they were in 2018 which was the worst year of the rebuild. Now, after a strong offseason, they are expecting that they can be even more improved this year. The fact that they play in a very weak division could also go in their favor. There is really only one team to really worry about and that is the Minnesota Twins. The Cleveland Indians should be pretty good too but the White Sox have the horses to compete with these teams.

Tim Anderson won the batting title in 2019 while Jose Abreu led the American League in RBIs. Eloy Jimenez came just outside the top three for the rookie of the year in fourth place. So if the team has all sorts of success in 2020, there are a few players who could be in the conversation for individual awards yet again. These three White Sox players could be winners of individual trophies in 2020:
