The Chicago White Sox and the rest of the MLB world know that Eloy Jimenez is going to be a superstar. He hit 31 home runs with two somewhat lengthy stints on the injured list in his rookie year. If he stays healthy, he has a chance to put 50 up in the prime of his career. Once he figured out how Major League pitchers were attacking him, he really got going. He can really become one of the best players this team has ever had if all goes his way.

Another fun thing about Jimenez is that he has an awesome personality. He is the type of guy that all fans want to root for. He does postgame interviews with a smile on his face which makes it clear that he absolutely enjoys being a Major League Baseball player. The fact that his talents match what he brings from human being aspect makes him that much easier to root for.

The White Sox made the decision not to call Jimenez up at the end of 2018 but rewarded him with a contract extension before he ever even played a single MLB game. He rewarded them by turning into an elite power hitter. He is also a guy who can hit for average as well. It has been a while since the White Sox have had a player this young come in and be that polished of a hitter. Jimenez sees the sky as his limit and he might not be wrong.
